Eritrea announced it would cut all diplomatic ties with Ethiopia after Addis Ababa expelled ten Eritrean diplomats and shut its embassy in Asmara, accusing Eritrea of acts of hostility, a charge Asmara rejected and blamed on Ethiopian aggression instead.
